
This is a Korean movie, background of which is Korea of 1960's, the story lasts till modern time...
Ji Hae and Su-Kyeong fall in love with same guy whose name is Sang-Min, Su-Kyeong is brave, keeps chasing Sang-Min... Ji Hae is shy, can't tell Sang-Min about her feeling... Every time Ji Hae meets, she feels uncomfortable, always trying to avoid him, but they can always meet...
One day Ji Hae finds a mysterious box while cleaning the room, actually it's some diary things of her mother's memory about the first love...
Summer of Year 1968, Joon-Ha goes to uncle's home in village, for spending vacation... He meets Joo Hee (mother of Ji Hae), falls in love with her at the first sight... Joo Hae is from a family at high class of the society, her grandfather is very strict... One day Joo Hae asks Joon Ha to take her to the so called ghost house at other side of the river, they spend one day together, have a very good time... However, storm comes suddenly, takes away their small boat, and Joo Hae even falls down and gets her foot injured... Joon Ha carries her on his back and walks back home, when they reach back it's already late at night, Joo Hae gives her necklace to Joon Ha... After this accident Joo Hae is sent back to the city, leaves the village without informing Joon Ha...
After the summer vacation Joon Ha goes back to Seoul for study... The guy in his class Tae Su asks him to write love letter to a girl arranged by his family, and it's just Joo Hae, Joon Ha doesn't tell Tae Su about what has happened in the village, but helps him writing the letter to Joo Hae...
Joo Hae and Joon
Ha meet again coz of Tae Su, Joon Ha goes to the gate of Joo Hae's house, telling her about his feeling, they start being together as lovers...
Tae Su also feels that he's fallen in love with Joo Hae, tells Joo Hae about his feeling as well... Situation becomes hard for Joo Hae and Joon Ha... Joo Hae wanna separate from Joon Ha, but Joon Ha tries to keep her... And finally Joon Ha tells Tae Su about his relationship with Joo Hae, asks Tae Su to beat him, but Tae Su doesn't beat him, instead just tells Joon Ha not to let Tae Su's father see the necklace which he's wearing, coz it's a gift given to Joo Hae by Tae Su's father...
In winter vacation, Joon Ha and Joo Hae exchange letters in name of Tae Su... Unfortunately, one letter sent by Joo Hae to Joon Ha was sent back to Tae Su's father, he gets to know everything... Tae Su wants to let Joon Ha and Joo Hae keep the relationship, but his father wants him to catch Joo Hae, coz of her family background... Tae Su doesn't want, then his father beats him hardly...
